Puppeteer Kevin Clash wrote this little book, not only as a memoir of growing up and developing his craft, but as a source of inspiration. Looking at themes like friendship and cooperation, he tells about incidents in his own lifetime that fit the chapter heading and then shares lessons that he teaches via his Sesame Street character, Elmo.
Elmo wasn't part of the Sesame Street gang when I was growing up, but he is much beloved by the newer generations of fans. That Clash is able to put his talents to use and teach valuable life lessons to youngsters is vitally important in today's world.
