Pretend You Don'T See Her - Mary Higgins Clark

I'm usually a fan of Mary Higgins Clark's work. She creates interesting suspense and believable characters.

This time, though, I was disappointed.

Realtor Lacey Farrell witnesses a murder and goes into witness protection. But she just can't seem to keep her mouth shut about where she is, what she knows, and so on. I spent so much time wanting to slap her that it wasn't even funny. So, of course, it becomes fairly easy for the villain to track her down.

Even the whodunnit became fairly obvious to me after a while. While I do read a fair amount of suspense, it shouldn't have been *that* easy to figure out who was responsible for all of the shenanigans.

Just not Clark's best work, IMO.
