Handbags and Homicide (Haley Randolph Mysteries)

Handbags and Homicide - Dorothy Howell Reasonably clever murder mystery, but not brilliant. This novel, which features a young woman moonlighting in a department store for extra funds and finding a store manager murdered in the stockroom, is what I would classify as a "poolside read." It's a fast read, and certainly not too taxing intellectually. If MaryJanice Davidson wrote mysteries, they would have a similar tone to this book.
