The fifth book of the Kingdom Keepers series finds the kids on a special cruise aboard the Disney Dream. They're still trying to stay one step ahead of Maleficent and the other baddies among the Overtakers ... but the OTs are on the cruise right along with them.Complicating matters are budding romantic feelings among some of the team members, and the presence of a new villain: Tia Dalma (from "Pirates of the Caribbean").Of course, like the previous four books, this is a fantasy-fueled romp that kept me reading far later than I planned to.This volume ends on a cliffhanger, and the next book doesn't come out until April 2013. That seems far too long a time to wait for one of the most clever series I've read in a long time.
