Around the World in Eighty Days
It is somewhat amazing to admit, but this is the first Jules Verne book I've read. Suffice it to say that others are in the queue, as I enjoyed it thoroughly.Verne's tale of Phileas Fogg and his servant, Jean Passepartout (which translates to "Jack of all trades"), undertaking a journey around the world on a wager is an entertaining romp across cultures as they were understood at the time. Fogg's eccentricities are many, and they make for a delightful read.Not to be missed!
