I, Robot

I, Robot - Isaac Asimov After several years of my husband telling me I "needed" to read this book, I did.I, Robot is a collection of short stories (as opposed to a novel); each one builds on the previous one, but they stand alone. The premise is that robopsychologist Susan Calvin is explaining robotics to a reporter, starting with the mute and basic early models to the complex Machines that eventually run the world. Some of the stories were better than others (by a long chalk) and, frankly, the first one of the lot is the best.I am not a big hard science fiction reader, and this book was simply not to my taste.
