Someplace to Be Flying

Someplace to Be Flying - Charles de Lint I'm very fond of Charles de Lint's "Newford" novels, and this entry in the series is quite entertaining. With "Someplace to be Flying," de Lint uses Native American mythology (Raven and Coyote) as the basis for a thorough examination on the nature of prejudice, as some citizens of Newford are "first people" (corbae and canids) who can shapeshift.A good read with rather a philosophical bent.
