Best read as an adjunct to Ms. Newman's memoir, "Here All Along," this volume of poems describes Ms. Newman's love for her daughters, her battles with abusive former husbands and a significant amount of personal growth through it all.Nicely done rhymes, with some bonus material at the end in which Ms. Newman shares funny tales about her kids. Good work all the way around.
