In 2012, I experienced a real struggle with my work on In The Eye of The Storm. I wasn't sure I actually had a book anymore, to be honest. I'd had a couple of years' worth of false starts and real frustrations behind the tale, and was on the verge of throwing in the towel.
I started going to on-line writing prompt sites to get ideas for writing short and flash fiction ... all of it using characters from my stories. What happened was pretty astonishing: I was able to not only see my characters in a new way, but also to figure out how to finish the new novel.
At the end of the year, I also had a slew of short fiction related to my novels. Enter Through the Opera Glass. I actually had a great deal of fun putting this together and hope that readers will enjoy it as well. Available on Amazon, Smashwords, Barnes & Noble, Apple ... you get the picture.
Thanks for taking a moment to check it out!
